Solitary shoreline grimoire

The salt line ledger

Recording tidal shifts, storm water distillations, and quiet coastal animism without esoteric hierarchy or claimed mastery.

Origins and practice

No secret chambers

This project began on cold rocky shores with a wax-sealed notebook and a camera strapped to driftwood. I started publishing YouTube dispatches because occult spaces felt barricaded behind claims of hereditary pedigree and expensive tools.

Water requires only bare attention. When we collect storm water in washed glass or track estuary tides across lunar phases, intuition sharpens through direct contact rather than ancient permission.

Disturb no living marsh

Monitor the ebb and surge cycles daily. The water moving through estuaries responds directly to gravitational pull, anchoring ritual timing to tangible planetary movement.

Collect drift, sea-glass, kelp holdfasts, and rain directly from the source. Water animism lives in wet cuffs and sand under fingernails, never in purchased props.

Log every experiment with neutral clarity. Distillations that spoil, unseasonal swells, and quiet workings teach as much as resonant days.

Take only fallen drift and shoreline castoffs. Salt marshes and tidal flats remain fragile sanctuaries that require custodianship over consumption.
